Well... Truth be told, I've been playing guitar since I was 5 years old. And I'm a WAY better guitarist than Nugent. (Do I belong in the RRHOF?)

& I never said he can't play, just that he's nothing special. I know like 20 guys and a few gals who all blow him away.

So- Anytime you want to see me "pick up a guitar and play" let me know. We'll zoom :)

And by "realist" if you mean that in reality he's been accused multiple times of molesting VERY young girls, he has. (Dude, find better heroes).

The point is - The Monkees, for example, totally deserve to be in the RRHOF.

They could barely play their instruments (most of their albums were done by the Wrecking Crew... just like the Beach Boys and many others)

BUT (big BUT) THEY WERE and ARE --INFLUENTIAL. Ask the guys from Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie, etc and they will concur.
